The Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957, the Karnataka Rent Act, 1999 and the Karnataka State Bar Council's rules shape day-to-day practice. RERA matters proceed before K-RERA. The Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961 governs agricultural land transactions. The Bengaluru Mediation Centre, established under the Bombay HC's example, has been operating since 2007.
